Memorial Day weekend

Today is Saturday May 29 and my husband, my two daughters, my little sister and me are getting ready to go camping at Fall Creek Falls State Park. It is only maybe 1 hour drive. Last night we went to the store and got my girls and little sister sleeping bags. This is the first time my girls have ever been camping, so tonight is going to be every interesting on how they are going to act about sleeping outside on the ground without cartoons. I have a freind that lives about 10 minutes from the park and they get upset I wil be calling her to come and get them to take them to her house. I am hoping it dont rain us out. But its time to get ready and go.

The week of May 17 to May 21 was a very interesting week at work. My supervisior sent alot of the people I worked with in the training center to the other plant to build sofas. So, when they done that it took our framer and final assembly. My trainer sent one of the back and seat builders to build frames and I had to learn how to final assemble a rocker recliner. The first day I did really good (my trainer said I did better than any of the guys that did it) and my trainer was telling everyone that walked by how good I was doing. One of the inspectors said that he had not really seen any girls final assemble like I was. I think it was like wednesday or thursday I had to learn how to put nail heads in the front arm of the chairs. The inspector that was inspecting our work told me how good my nail heads looked. He said the ones that he has seen in the cells didn't look good at all. It was very hard and I was very tired this past week, but I loved it when I blowed everyones mind at work. It makes me fill good.

Today is May 13, 2010 and my little sister is graduating from high school tommorow evening. I am so proud of her, but she also makes me feel a little old since she is seven years younger than me. She wanted to go to college to be cook and I hope she wants to go and be that. If I can go to college and pass my classes than I know she can. She just has to want to go.

Florida Trip

My husbands family lives in Florida and on May 7 we left Tennessee on a very long (12 hour drive) trip to my father-in-laws house in Florida. So far it has been great. Today (May 8) is my newphews 14th birthday and tomorow (May 9) is mothers day So, we picked the best weekend to go to Florida. My husband and I are going to take my two daughters to the beach later today or maybe in the morning on our way out.

Today

It is only ten clock in the morning and it has benn a geat day already. I have not seen of tal to my dad in over a year and I finally got to see him and talk to him. There was alot of things that has happened in March and April of 2009 that caused my mom and dad not to want anything to do with me. But, its over a year everyone is pretty much over it expect my mom she still don't want anything to do with my family or me. I have always been a daddys girl and always will be. My dad will be 75 years old and I am so happy that I got to talk to him and he got to see his two granddaughters. I hope the rest of today is good too.

I have had a really good weekend so far. Friday night my younger sister stayed the night with me and my family. We have not seen her in over a year. My kids was so exicted to see her. My kids stayed attached to her the whole time she was her. My husband found out that he had a cousin that lived like twenty minutes from us. So, we got his number and my husband called him and they talked and decided to have my husband, my kids and me come over to his house and eat dinner. We went over there saturday and they had a little girl for my girls to play with. We ate dinner and the kids played and my husband and I played a game of cards with his cousin and his girlfriend. We got there at about four clock and did not leave until eleven clock that night. The kids played for seven hours. By the time we got home my girls was so tired. We all had a very good time.

The first of March the place I work told me that they where eliminating my job. They told me I could go to the training center and learn how to build chairs. I was in the training center for six weeks and they come and told me that they needed me to go back to sewing because they where behind for about two to four weeks. Last wednesday is when they came and told me that and today they came back to me and said they didn't need me in sewing anymore and that I could go back to the training center. I know how to do so many things at the place where I work sometimes I fell like they take advantage of me. Thats why I can not wait until I get my degree.

To all, me and my husband bought a four wheeler April or May of 2007. My husband and his two little brothers went to a mountain around where we live and the youngest one (his was 16 at the time) he drove the four wheeler to the top of the mountain and started to come back down and he was going to fast and it was a gravel road and him and the four wheeler went off the side of the mountain and hit a tree. That happened September 2009. So, it has been wrecked and still being paid for every mouth and no noe can ride it. A couple of weeks ago I finally talked my husband into getting it fixed. We took it to get fixed and we got it back yesterday. It looks like it never was wrecked. My girls, husband, dogs and me are so exicted about it.

Being a online student

Today I am going to blog about the environment of online college. I love being a online student. I have recently had to change from second shift to first shift at work and being able to do my assignments when I get home or on the weekends. I was a little nerves about it at first, but know about being a student for almost a year (in May) I love it and I tell all my freinds that its better than going to a college. I can do seminars in my pj's. The flexibility and self directed style of being a online student is wonderful. If something happens and you can not turn all your homework in on time all you have to do is email your professor and they will work with you the best they can.
